A great community farmers' market, where we sell our produce and get to catch up with our friends. Markets are often themed, with gardening, livestock, and cooking demonstrations to name a few. Held on the first Sunday of each month, from 9am to 1pm at the Bream Creek Showgrounds, located a 40min drive from Hobart.


Cape Bernier is one of Bream Creek's vineyards. Aside from making superb wines, the owners also farm free range pigs for fantastic bacon and pork. They also have a small olive grove to produce olive oil, and they are working on a new cellar door, where Tongola cheeses will be available. 

We highly recommend getting to one of their "Pork and Pinot" events.


Sorell Fine Meat

Andrew is our butcher who helps us with our goat and beef. He also makes the best bacon in town!

The award-winning Bangor Wine & Oyster Shed, run by local families the Dunbabins and the Grays, is a cellar door, farm gate shop and restaurant just south of Dunalley. The cool climate grapes are grown on Bangor with the oysters produced in the deep water of Norfolk Bay, a stone's throw from the Shed. Bangor focuses on a 'paddock to plate' philosophy: what you enjoy is harvested from the vines and the sea before you. In addition, the chef sources other local produce to supplement the menu - including produce from Leap Farm. They also do great coffee - we strongly recommend a visit. You might even see us there (easily recognisable, as we tend to pop in for a coffee between farm jobs, so are typically wearing our best clothes)! Open 7 days a week (closed Christmas Day), 10am-9pm over the summer, and 10am-5pm during winter.
